Share one brief before comparing prices

Getting an early price is useful. Making sure everyone prices the same scope is more useful. We recommend a shared brief for the developer, design professionals and suppliers: dwelling count, unit types, intended uses, finish level and target delivery dates.

Coordinate the interfaces

Ask professionals to identify equipment locations, routes, connections, service access and acoustic constraints. Tie the list to a specific drawing revision. When a plan changes, the team should be able to trace the effect on quantities and on products already selected. That record gives procurement a concrete basis for seeking confirmation.

Document five decisions

• Equipment families and the performance requirements to be validated by professionals.
• Quantities for each dwelling type and the variants that are genuinely needed.
• Inclusions, exclusions and responsibilities in every proposal.
• Required dates by phase, delivery conditions and receiving space.

Prepare for operation

We recommend a handover file containing the models actually installed, manuals, applicable warranties and service contacts. Name the person who receives it and the person who checks it against delivered equipment. For an initial phase, consider agreeing on a sample or configuration review before repeating the selection throughout the project.
